About Life in Business Casual

Welcome to Life in Business Casual! I'm Taylor and I'm a freshman at Washington University in St. Louis. I'm in Olin Business School, double majoring in Marketing and Operations and Supply Chain Management with a minor in Chinese. On campus I'm a brother of a co-ed professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, a mentor for MoneyThink (which is a program that teaches financial literacy to high school students), and am also involved in several other programs that work with prospective students. I love taking polaroid photos of all my favorite places and memories with my old school Polaroid 600 camera so look out for any of those pictures on the blog! Also I'm a die hard tennis fan and am captivated by the beauty, history, and integrity of the game.

I created Life in Business Casual to share any helpful college hacks, networking tips, and apparel advice I find throughout my time as an undergrad. I wanted to create a platform with content I felt I could relate to and learn from at the same time. Every week I post an informational Ted Talk, or write an article that may help in navigating young adult life. Additionally you'll find entries about interesting pieces from top business oriented media companies that may help with important college decisions like major selection or do's and don'ts of interviewing. Please feel free to submit recommendations for Ted Talk Tuesdays to the LiBC email located on the contact page. Hope you enjoy!
